Badass Buffalo Babes is author Cheryl Krajna's collection of stories about the women who shaped Buffalo history. Holtz Digital worked within her existing WordPress site to make those stories easier to discover and explore. The project brought together technical SEO, image optimization, accessibility improvements, clearer mobile navigation, and a working newsletter signup — while preserving Cheryl's writing and the site's identity.

- Cleaned up sitemaps and indexing, with redirects preserving links when story URLs changed
- Improved page titles, meta descriptions, author bylines, and structured article and author information
- Added descriptive image text and media-library titles to make the site's historical imagery more accessible
- Compressed content images and resized the header image to reduce page weight
- Improved button contrast, mobile navigation, and touch targets
- Connected related stories so readers can keep exploring Buffalo history
- Added working newsletter signup forms in the footer and after stories, with the complete signup flow verified
